Perhaps just a little dizzy after riding the Carousel at the  Blackberry Historical  Farm Village?  This is just one of the 12 fun "Field Trips" we take the kids on during the Summer Special Event and Field Trip Program hosted by the Park District every summer.

"Paddleboating" in the lagoon at Centennial Park for the Opening Day of the Field Trip Program. I don't think they're going to get very far... :)

Pictured above are the winners in the

2010 Winter Spring 2Ball Contest

recently sponsored by the Coloma Township Park District. In previous years the Chicago Bulls helped sponsor this event and the winners would proceed to another contest. Unfortunately, the Bulls pulled their sponsorship last year,  and the contest no longer progresses. However, the Park District will continue to sponsor this contest on a local level where we can still have fun and enjoy a "sportsmanship day!"

As the shots below prove, everyone here had a great time.
