![]() | Pictured left is Rhyanna Hadden who won the 2011 Major League Baseball and Aquafina, Pitch, Hit and Run Team Championship in the girls 13 & 14 year old age group recently held at Wrigley Field in Chicago. To get there Rhyanna won the Coloma Township park District Local Competition and the Sectional Competition in Geneseo, Illinois. Rhyanna narrowly missed competing in the Nationals held in Phoenix prior to the Major League Baseball All Star Game. Major League Baseball took only the top three participants in the country in each age group for the National Competition. Rock Falls has had 3 Team Champions, 2 National Competitors and 1 National Champion since 2008.

Aquafina, Major League Baseball, and the Coloma Township Park District held their 13th Annual Pitch Hit & Run Competition. Boys and Girls competed separately in their own divisions. Pictured above are the winners, of which those winning first place will be advancing to the "Sectional Competition" in Geneseo, Illinois. This competition will take place on May 14th at 1:00 pm at Bollen Field (1001 South Chicago Street).
